Summer in Sainte-Foy
Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is not only a place to visit in the winter but it’s also a magical place in the summer. The beautiful mountains provide the opportunity for a range of activities, such as; trail hiking/walking, horseback riding, mountain sports, paragliding, mountain biking and archery. Sainte-Foy offers fantastic varied hikes through pastures, forests, mountain passes and summits – with both high-altitude sectors and lower mountain slopes, there are routes for varying abilities. From 890m in the Isère valley to 3747m at the top of the Grande Sassière, you can explore three stages of vegetation: mountainous, subalpine and alpine.

The area is steeped in heritage and worth exploring, from churches, hamlets and chapels to the ‘not to be missed’ Monal Village classified site. There are lots of guided tours available in the area to help you make the most of your holiday.
